How Credit Repair Works

The Credit Bureaus are known to have misleading information circulating in regards to credit repair. One of the most known ones is that you can't repair your credit without waiting 7 to 10 years for negative items to fall off your credit report. That's ABSOLUTELY incorrect. The Fair Credit Reporting Act states that if the items on your credit report aren't reported 100% accurately and 100% verifiable by the creditors, then the item must be removed from your credit report.

Statistics show that approximately 79% of all credit reports contain errors and aren't verifiable. That's a pretty high amount isn't it? So chances are, your credit report contains errors and aren't 100% verifiable. Often times when accounts are closed, charged off or discharged needs, the creditors do not have the supporting evidence to verify the legitimacy of an account within the 30 day time line they’re given. Their inability to document and support their reporting results in deletions that will raise your credit score!
